GTA 6 Standard Edition — $79.99
The Standard Edition is the complete single-player campaign following Jason and Lucia through the full story, with nothing held back from the core game. It doesn’t include any of the bonus cosmetic or gameplay content found in the Ultimate Edition, but every mission, character arc, and open-world feature in GTA 6 is fully playable.
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition — $99.99
For $20 more, the Ultimate Edition adds a layer of bonus content on top of the full game. Rather than handing everything over on day one, the bonuses unlock gradually as you progress through Jason and Lucia’s story, chapter by chapter, so the extra content stays woven into the campaign instead of front-loaded all at once.
Based on Rockstar’s official breakdown, Ultimate Edition owners get:
- Exclusive vehicles, including a retro-styled 1990s sports car tied to a later story chapter
- Exclusive weapons, including a matched pair of revolvers with Vice City–inspired detailing
- Premium outfits and looks for both Jason and Lucia not available in the Standard Edition
- Access to exclusive in-game shops, including a hairstyling salon for both protagonists
- Two additional side missions not included in the Standard Edition
If you buy the Standard Edition and change your mind later, Rockstar has confirmed the Ultimate Edition upgrade can be purchased separately at any time after launch, so you’re not locked into your choice at pre-order.
Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack
Regardless of which edition you choose, pre-ordering GTA 6 gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack for free. It’s a smaller cosmetic bundle themed around a retro, neon-era version of Vice City: a classic sedan with its own personal garage, throwback outfits and hairstyles for both protagonists, and a weapon design pulled from the same retro aesthetic. Pre-ordering also adds a free month of the GTA+ subscription, which comes with a one-time in-game cash bonus.
Physical copies don’t include a disc
Worth knowing before you buy: physical copies of GTA 6 won’t ship with a game disc. The box includes a download code instead, so even a “physical” purchase is a digital install under the hood. Physical copies become available starting November 12, 2026, timed with the preload window.
