DWNPLY is a local Vice City rapper best known for the early hit single he made with Bae-Luxe and Roxy, roughly five years before GTA 6’s story begins. That collaboration is what first got Real Dimez noticed beyond their immediate circle, and it eventually helped land all three of them a deal with Only Raw Records. DWNPLY represents the more established side of Vice City’s hip-hop scene that Real Dimez was hoping to break into when they were still an unsigned duo hustling for attention.
