Andrés de León is a wealthy executive tied to Megamundo, a Spanish-language media conglomerate with its own news arm, Mega Noticias, and a growing footprint across Leonida. He’s introduced as a client of Valentina, who brings in Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos to work private security around him — a job that reads as straightforward until it very much isn’t.
The assignment centers on the celebration marking the opening of Megamundo’s first corporate headquarters in the United States. What should be a routine security gig turns violent when armed assailants storm the building and take de León hostage, forcing Jason and Lucia to fight their way through the building to get him out alive. His visible drug addiction is part of why he seems to need round-the-clock protection in the first place, and it raises the question of just how many enemies a man in his position has actually made.
